Amberwood is a simplified blackletter that is great for packaging and branding projects. Upon completion it will have 5 weights and 3 heights. It will also be available as a variable font with both a weight and height axes. Amberwood was originally a piece of custom lettering for a brewery. The brewery went in another direction so now Amberwood will become a typeface for everyone. The long, straight sides conjure imagery of tall trees and the flat bottoms along the baseline keep the letters rooted.
